Windows 7 and the Vundo Trojan
I found out this morning while downloading some utilities that Windows 7 is as vulnerable to the Vundo Trojan as previous versions of Windows. Somewhat disappointed, I have started out performing all the necessary cleaning operations:
- Getting and running the latest version of VundoFix
- Running a full system scan using ESET NOD32
- Getting and running the latest version of Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware
Everything appears to be good, and I am not getting any alerts from Windows or my antivirus software.
