With the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game tomorrow, I decided I would celebrate a little early. I picked up a case of Dogfish Head 90 Minute Imperial IPA from Birdsboro Beverage. The beer has a deep amber red color with a beige head, and has a hoppy aroma. Until now the HopDevel from Victory Brew Pub was the hoppiest aroma I have smelled. The aroma of the 90 Minute IPA just topped it. Beyond the bitterness of the beer lies a citrus taste. It’s well balanced and complementary. The complex flavor of the beer is almost overpowering, but not quite. The beer is very drinkable.

Good Beer. Light brown sugar taste in a pleasantly hoppy ale. Tastes almost like a oatmeal stout but just a little sweeter.

Whoo-Hoo is that some hoppy beer. Super Good. Can’t wait to try the 90 Minute IPA.
