Continue reading »]]> With the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game tomorrow, I decided I would celebrate a little early. I picked up a case of Dogfish Head 90 Minute Imperial IPA from Birdsboro Beverage. The beer has a deep amber red color with a beige head, and has a hoppy aroma. Until now the HopDevel from Victory Brew Pub was the hoppiest aroma I have smelled. The aroma of the 90 Minute IPA just topped it. Beyond the bitterness of the beer lies a citrus taste. It’s well balanced and complementary. The complex flavor of the beer is almost overpowering, but not quite. The beer is very drinkable.
