Mainly a few Tufted Titmouse and Black-capped Chickadees this morning and afternoon, but a White-breasted Nuthatch and Northern Cardinal came to visit just now. I am going to need to reposition and alter the feeder to prevent the squirrels and deer from eating all the birdseed.
I think I found out why the bird feeder was empty this morning. The birds aren’t the only ones enjoying the free food.
Thinking about it…

Still Thinking…

Let’s go this way…

Got it…

The big stretch…

Peek-a-boo!

What a show off.

That was fun.

Saw the following birds this morning at the bird feeder:
- Tufted Titmouse (picture below)
- Northern Cardinal
- Black-capped Chickadee
- White-breasted Nuthatch
- Chipping Sparrow

I need to get a longer lens and set up my tripod while having my morning coffee.
This past weekend I completed a 16-hour course to become a certified Trainer by the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics headquartered in Boulder, CO. It was a fantastic course that enhanced my understanding of the seven principals of Leave No Trace, and providing a wealth of knowledge to enable me to educate others on the practices and ways that we can ensure our outdoor activities are low impact to preserve our natural resources so those that follow can enjoy the same experience.
If anyone is interested in organizing an awareness session for Scouts, youth, or other organizations, please let me know.
